Is WinX right for a very small property (e.g. a few-room homestay)?

Usually not. WinX is built for multi-outlet or multi-module operations including hotels, resorts, parks, spa, F&B, finance, and groups. A single small B&B with no POS or accounting needs may be better served by a lightweight tool. We will say so on a discovery call rather than oversell.

Is WinX cloud or on-premise?

Both. WinX deploys as cloud-hosted, on-premise, or hybrid. The same product runs either way. Choose based on infrastructure preference, internet reliability, and data residency requirements. See Deployment & data for hosting, backup, and multi-property setups.

Does WinX have mobile apps?

How does WinX handle room availability vs allotment blocks?

WinX uses real-time availability on one database. Front office, group blocks, and reporting share a live room pool instead of separate allotment blocks reconciled at night audit. Oversell rules are property-configurable; the focus is accurate live counts, not uncontrolled overbooking.

Which payment gateways does WinX integrate with?

Can one legal entity or group office sell rooms or tickets for another property?

Yes. WinX can support authorised sales partner or SSP-style workflows where one approved company, group office, or legal entity sells products for another property, subject to the customer's tax, accounting, and legal setup. Cross-country examples are scoped carefully during discovery.

Can WinX handle cross-property charges?

Yes. WinX can post and track charges across authorised properties based on permission, folio, department, and accounting rules. This is useful when a guest stays at one property but consumes services, tickets, F&B, spa, or retail items from another property in the same group.

What is CAPEX vs OPEX for a WinX project?

CAPEX usually covers the perpetual software license, implementation milestones, and any servers or cloud infrastructure you choose. OPEX is support & maintenance, plus hosting or third-party fees you opt into. WinX is MySQL-based, so many customers avoid Microsoft SQL Server per-seat database licensing.

What support do we get after go-live?
